Our Camp will be led once again by our club's Head Coach, Arron MacDonald. Coach MacDonald was the East Region Coach of the Year for 2020, and is currently working towards his Level 3 Advanced Coaching Qualification.

"Our Summer Camp was a superb event in 2019, and got excellent feedback, one camper referred to it as 'their best experience in basketball!' Over the past two years - despite the pandemic - we've seen a massive surge in interest in our sport, and the growth of the club is evident when we look at the coaching line-up for Camp this year..."
Coach MacDonald will be joined by a number of talented and experienced coaches, and we can also expect members of our Senior Men's National League side to attend camp through the week, supporting the camp as mentors, working with our young players and building relationships across the club.
Summer Camp Coaching Lineup:
Coach Jo Brawn is the club's #AllGirls Coach, and was the 2020 East Region Most Inspiring Female Award Winner.
Coach Benn Wathey is joining the club ahead of the 2021/22 season, and is the current REME & Army National Team Head Coach, and is looking to make a guest appearance during the week.
Coach Rob Fisher is a former player at the club, and has been a stalwart of our Junior sides over the past several seasons.
Brandon Marshall is an Apprentice Coach working through his Level 2 Coaching Qualification and is a member of our Men's National League side and is capped by Wales at U20's level.
Coach Danny Manning formerly played for Coach MacDonald at Ipswich, and as a player was a part of two Final Four sides as well as a three-year member of the Ipswich Basketball Academy; Coach Manning is a Level 2 Coach with National League experience.
Jim Walker is an Apprentice Coach, and was a part of some of the same Ipswich sides as Coach Manning, playing under Coach MacDonald in the U16's, and will be a part of camp having recently completed his Level 1 Coaching Qualification as part of our #IWill programme.
We will also be joined by members of our National League Men's side and Lynne Quelch (our Club Secretary and Welfare Officer) who will be managing the camp throughout the week and running the Summer Camp Shop, which may be selling clothing from Starting 5, Always Ballin and our club shop - as well as chilled bottles of Gatorade!
