"Looking at the last few years, we've made some significant strides as a club" said Chairman Ashley MacDonald, "However, it's been a very challenging period of time, too, and the outcome is that we've seen our Coaching Lineups change quite significantly from our pre-pandemic plans, we've seen a number of volunteers step away from not only the club - but the sport as a whole - which has impacted our ability to recruit new volunteers; and at the same time, we've surpassed our own goals in terms of the growth of the club."
"Our club is more than ten times bigger than we were five years ago in terms of our playing numbers, and we receive an average of 2-3 new player enquiries every single day. We've reached a level where we cannot maintain the club at its' current size based only on the efforts of volunteers, and so we've taken this step and are looking to recruit additional experienced Coaches to work alongside the superb coaching lineup we already have at the club."
The club is seeking experienced and qualified coaches to lead Junior teams for the coming season. Additionally, if you are not currently qualified, and would like to develop as a volunteer Assistant Coach, there are teams across the club with these opportunities available. Any paid Coaching roles with the club will be on a self-employed basis.
If you are interested in applying, please get in touch with us to discuss the opportunity further.
