You'll notice that there's been a lot of updates across the site recently...

We've added pictures to the roster pages, and if you click on those pictures - it'll take you to that player's profile (if they've provided us with one).

This feature isn't available if you're viewing on a mobile - but will be visible on tablets and laptops/desktops.

When you look through the rosters, you'll note a few names and faces which might not be so familiar to you...

We're delighted to have added a number of players through this off-season, with Patrick Laycock, Brad Day, Cameron Poolton, McNeil Kasohnko and Thomas Dugdale joining the club, while former players Neil Thompson and Junior Trye have also returned.

Coach Arron MacDonald had this to say of the new signings:

"Patrick, Brad and Cameron are three young, athletic, talented players. Brad is a huge pickup for us, he's a direct replacement for Dave Baulcomb, and will be a part of our first team. He wanted to play for us last season, and he's come back and is really focused on getting better, and winning.

Both Cameron and Patrick are still young enough to compete in both Suffolk Senior Leagues, but they've really impressed some of the veterans already, and I know their sights are set on the first team squad. Junior played for us some time ago, and has really shot up and filled his frame since then. He's going to add some size and athleticism to our Reserve side."

"We've not seen Thomas yet, as he's in the process of relocating in order to join Brandon at Colchester Academy - but he's a hard-working and enthusiastic young big guy, and he's going to be working with Coach Tom Sadler every day - so we know he's going to improve. We believe with the veteran big guys we have available here to mentor him, that we can help him on his journey."

"McNeil joins having last represented Wattisham Raptors, where the veteran wing was amongst their leading scorers. He's another vocal, hard-working and tough player who can create his own shot and guard multiple positions."

"Neil Thompson re-joins the club following a season at Cornard Kings, where he provided veteran leadership to an inexperienced side. Everyone knows what to expect from Stilts - he blocks shots, rebounds and sets screens and is a physical presence that you need in order to be a winning and improving team."

"With the way these guys have already gelled with our team, and how hard everyone's worked all summer, we cannot wait for our move to Skyliner and for our season to start. That being said, we're ALWAYS looking for new players, and playing in three leagues - so if you're thinking about joining us, get in touch."

Bulldogs have received the provisional Cambs League & Cup Fixtures, and are presently waiting for the Suffolk League fixtures - details of our games will be available publicly at www.burybasketball.com and to all members via the Teamo app.
