There is HUGE news out of our club today, as Coach Arron MacDonald announced our first ever Summer Camp, along with a change of format for our End of Season celebrations.
Our Summer Camp will run 29th July to 2nd August at Skyliner Sports Centre, the Home of Bury St. Edmunds Basketball, and will be open to boys and girls aged 10-17.

Coach MacDonald had this to say about the Summer Camp: “As a young player, I travelled all around the country to attend basketball camps, and as a coach, I’ve been fortunate enough to work at a few in our region. I’m really excited to put together a team of coaches and try to offer something a little different to the players in our region.”
The club also announced it‘s annual End of Season celebrations, which are always superbly supported by the club.
The club has begun work on the day’s events this early owing to a change in format, which could see all current members (and a few blasts from the past) on-court at Skyliner during the day, and enjoying the evening at the Moreton Hall Community Centre.
”We’ve been running our End of Season celebrations for over a decade now, and they’re always evolving” said Coach MacDonald
”Last year was really well attended and supported, but with the Senior tournament a week beforehand and the junior all-star game the day before the presentation evening, everything felt a little... disjointed. Hopefully, these changes will allow everyone to play some meaningful basketball on the day, support one another, and then stay together through the evening.”
The day’s events will be at Skyliner, starting with the Mark Knight Junior All-Star Game at 9am. This will be followed by the Legends Game and Futures Game, before the Senior All-Star Game at 3pm.
A barbecue and presentation evening will then follow at Moreton Hall Community Centre from 5:00-9:00pm.
Tickets will be available from Club Coaches later in the season.
