With no competitive action at the club since March 2020, the long wait for the return of the Bulldogs to the court appears to be coming to an end, as we have today received the first draft of the 2021/22 season fixtures:

The side have a challenging pre-season, hosting Division 2 NASSA before travelling to play Huntingdon Hawks & Division 3 Warwickshire Hawks; before a much-anticipated trio of games to open the season - as the Bulldogs travel to Ipswich in the first round of the National Cup, before hosting UEA Panthers in the league opener, followed by the first West Suffolk derby of the season.

"Firstly, I think it's really important to take a minute and thank the staff at Basketball England for getting the fixtures out to us so promptly - I can only imagine the challenges they've been facing." said Coach Arron MacDonald.

"We know how challenging this season is going to be, and that's why we wanted to have a tough pre-season and see where we're at... travelling to Ipswich for the National Cup game is a really nice occasion for us. Like some of the other members of our team, I have some really happy memories of my time at Ipswich - and the opportunity to face our county's premier side ahead of our league season opener is one which we're looking forwards to."

"We know we have nothing to lose this season. We were disappointed with every aspect of our performance in the 2019/20 season, and we're determined to put a stronger performance in this season - one which our club and community can really get behind."

The Bulldogs will shortly announce their roster for the 2021/22 season.
