Young wing Johnny Ward left the game injured in the first half against Cannons and was unable to continue, with what seemed to be a potentially serious knee injury.

We’ve heard from Johnny today, who’s been told by the doctors it seems he’s hyperextended his knee, causing some strain around the joint.
While it’s a painful injury, and he’s naturally disappointed to miss any part of the season, the current prognosis is for a couple of weeks’ rest before further review, and we’ve got our fingers crossed that we’ll see Johnny working his way back in the near future.
On behalf of everyone at the club, we’d like to wish Johnny all the best in his recovery, and we look forward to seeing him back on-court with us soon.
