We're now less than a month away from our club's first fundraising event in more than 18 months, as we look to bring the club together and kick off our preparations for the much-anticipated 2021/22 season with our Basketball Marathon.
You can sign up to this event via the Spond App, and entry is just £10.00.
The Marathon takes place at Culford School Sports Centre on Saturday 14th August, and runs from 09:00 to 13:00.
This year we're aiming to pass the ball 100 miles, dribble the ball 100 miles and score 20,000 points - which is a pretty daunting feat - though just two years ago, fifteen players managed to rack up 61 combined passing and dribbling miles, and score 15,000 points!
We'd encourage everyone taking part to also seek sponsorship, and you can find and download the form for this here. Remember, all sponsorship raised will be split 50/50 between the club, and the player's fees for the season (capped at a maximum of the player's season fees).
We'll also look to award some prizes for the players who have the most sponsorship, and who work the hardest on the day.
