Changes to Junior NBL Trials

Please note, there has been a change to the dates of the Junior NBL Trials at the club.

The sessions will now take place on Saturday 18th May at Skyliner Sports Centre.

Coach Arron MacDonald explained the change on behalf of the club:

Having set our trial dates, we've had a number of enquiries from Junior Members who have advised they're also due to participating in the Aspire programme, and have involvement in training with Suffolk ahead of the inter-county East Region tournament - which both happen to be on the same day.

I was really fortunate to represent Suffolk as a player, captain and coach; and our club wholeheartedly supports and believes in both the Suffolk programme and the Basketball England pathway - so we didn't want anyone feeling like there had to be a choice between the two, and we want our coaches to have the opportunity to see all of the interested and talented players who want to be a Bulldog.

In light of this, we have elected to move our Junior Trials, to ensure that we're doing the right thing for all interested parties.

The Senior Men's trial is unaffected by this, and will take place on Sunday 26th May, as scheduled.
