Bury St, Edmunds Bulldogs won a top of the table clash, 76-52, against Big Dog Ballin’ at Skyliner Sports Centre in Suffolk Division 2, with the guests' lineup including Bulldogs legend, Terry Rose. Bury now sit at the top of Division 2 in both the Suffolk and Cambridge leagues after four wins in a busy twelve days, two in each competition. Both teams had their moments in a competitive first half. Good shooting gave Bury an 11 point lead early in the second quarter before Big Dog responded and had the lead themselves 5 minutes later.

A timeout steadied the Bury nerves though and a 10-2 run sparked by Junior Trye saw the Bulldogs leading by 6 at half time. The Bulldogs then took control of the game as the second half progressed. A strong third quarter extended the lead to 17 and by the final buzzer it was a 24 point win. “I’m really pleased with that win” said Bury coach Glenn Collins after the game, “After one of our less impressive performances of the season on Wednesday this was one of our best, and everyone played their part.” Sonjay Williams led a balanced Bulldogs attack with 14 points. Jason Sykes added 13 and Jay Trye 12 reflecting a good team performance.
