As we work towards our return to the floor, Bury St. Edmunds Basketball Club are delighted to announce a pair of holiday camps, to be held at Culford School Sports Centre.

Our half-term camp on Wednesday 2nd June will be aimed at boys and girls aged 7-14 and will be led by Coaches Arron MacDonald and Joanna Brawn.

The camp costs £35.00 for the day, and the cost includes a catered lunch.

The day will feature a mixture of skill development and gameplay, and beginners and non-club members are welcome!

To book your place, call Culford School Sports Centre on 01284 385370.

Our Summer Camp dates have also been set, again at Culford School and running from 23rd to 27th August, inclusive.

Coach Arron MacDonald will lead the camp again, which was described by one of our prior attendees as "the best experience I've had in basketball."

The camp will consist of on-court skill development, fitness, gameplay and competitions, with off-court sessions sprinkled-in, too.

The coaching team will shortly be announced for the camp, which costs £125.00 for the week, or £35.00 for a daily booking, and the camp is open to boys and girls aged 9-18.

Lunches are included within the price, and all pre-booked campers will also receive a reversible jersey as part of their package, and there will be prizes awarded to the Camp Champions, Coaches Award Winners and Competition Winners, too.

"Our camps might not have been running for very long - but they're a massive part of our club calendar, and play a huge role in fundraising for the club." said Coach Arron MacDonald

"I'm really pleased to be partnering with Culford for our camps moving forwards. Our camps were already quite unique in featuring elements from the "Lead 'Em Up" curriculum and off-court sessions factored-in, but with the development of the facilities at Culford, we now have access to the indoor court and a pair of outdoor courts for the camp - which creates a lot more options for us, and allows us to open our doors to even more young players - including non-members of the club.

With that said, I'd encourage everyone to book their places as soon as possible - as places will go quickly, and it will really assist us in organising the camp proactively, but places are limited."
