With the club's playing members growing rapidly, the Bulldogs' Coaching staff needed to grow, and has now been bolstered by two veteran players gaining their Basketball England Level 2 Coaching Qualifications.
Guards Glenn Collins and Rob Fisher attended the recent Suffolk Basketball coaching course, headed-up by Ipswich Basketball Club Head Coach, Nick Drane.

The four-day course, which consisted of working through Basketball England's coaching curriculum - as well as practical and theoretical assessments from Coach Drane, wrapped-up this past weekend at Copleston Sports Centre.
Both coaches received excellent feedback from Coach Drane, who noted their enthusiasm and knowledge, and felt both had the potential to be very good coaches.
Coach Collins said "I really enjoyed the course. I wasn't quite expecting it to be as physically demanding as it was - but I learned a lot, and I'm looking forward to putting it into practice."
Coach Fisher added "It was so valuable to get direct feedback from Coach Drane as to what I did well and where I could improve. I learnt a ton over the four days, and I'm now looking forward to getting started with the Under 13's."
Both coaches will serve as Assistant Coaches to the Senior First team this season, whilst also having other coaching opportunities at the club, most notably Coach Fisher will be heading-up the Under 13's Junior Team.
Bulldogs' Head Coach Arron MacDonald added "I'm really proud of these guys for taking this opportunity to go and get their qualifications, and looking to give back to a club which has been a big part of their playing careers."
"It was really important to me that they went and worked with Nick, who was not only my course tutor - but also my mentor when I went to National League with Ipswich. He's someone who's won National Championships and coached internationally - but is equally at home in a primary school session and I felt that Rob and Glenn would benefit hugely from working with him. His feedback regarding their performance means a lot to all of us."
"I'm really looking forwards to working with these guys, helping in their development, and seeing them lead our club forwards." - Coach MacDonald
