Based in Thurston, just outside of Bury St. Edmunds, SMART are the UK's leading manufacturer, creating garden rooms, offices and studios of the highest quality. Launched in 2001, SMART were the first ever mainstream garden office building company, and their mission is the specialist creation of garden rooms that are SMART: both visually and technologically.
Matt Moss, Managing Director of SMART had this to say on the sponsorship agreement: “The Bulldogs have been a part on my life for the last 20 years, on and off, and it has been great to see the club grow from strength to strength. The clubs passion, commitment and leadership which helps positivity impacts all at the club, creating a family like community, is outstanding and one I mirror at SMART to drive the business. After so many years of being on the receiving end, it is great to be in a position to give back and support the club and the development of future generations of players and people.”
As part of the sponsorship agreement, SMART are pleased to offer a £500.00 discount to any current senior club member, or to the parents of any junior club member.
"I'm delighted that another local organisation has seen fit to invest in our club, and our vision for where we want to be." said Head Coach Arron MacDonald.
"This is yet another reminder of exactly who we are as a club. We're the longest-running club in West Suffolk, and have been serving the community for almost forty years. Throughout that time, we've focused on coaching the person - not just the player - and that shows with the quality of alumni from our club. Matt was a member of the club as a junior, won the Suffolk League & Cup Double with us as a Senior, and got involved with the sport again through our 'Get Back Into Basketball' programme - the club's always meant a lot to him, and on behalf of the club, we're so very grateful to Matt and the team at SMART for their support. We look forward to seeing them courtside at Skyliner next season."
